Leading The POD
For Women 18+
The female Killer Whale is one of a few known mammals that goes through menopause. Research has demonstrated the matriarch or elder female plays a significant role after menopause ensuring the survival of younger generations in the whale pod . Watching the way she leads with strength, balance, grace, strength and determination inspired me to develop a comprehensive 8 session program for women as they transition to post reproductive years (and beyond). Classes will be longer in length (2 hours) which will provide opportunity for community building, guest speakers and self reflection after a one hour yoga practice (including flow, hatha, yin, yang/yin, yoga nidra and restorative). Come join us for a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the benefits of yoga, connect with others and just give yourself the gift of time to focus on you!
This class is exclusive for women 18+ in perimenopause, menopause or post menopause stages of life.
Classes will be once a week for 8 weeks . They will be 2 hours in length.
Beginner Yoga Series
18+Women & Men
This series of lessons is designed to introduce you to the benefits the yoga basics. Lessons will include different breathing techniques, balancing the mind/body connection during your practice and alignment of postures leading to an increased level of strength and balance. Over the course of the program, yoga practices will include flow, hatha, yin, yang/yin, yoga nidra and restorative.

These classes are designed as a gentle approach to mindful movement with the aim to build your confidence to explore faster moving yoga classes with self assurance .
Classes will be once a week for 8 weeks.

Yin Yoga
18+ Men & Women
Yin practice is based on Chinese medicine and the Tao principle of complementary energies in the body. Yin poses target connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons and facia. Holding postures for 3-5 minutes while utilizing breathing techniques and a quiet mind , encourages stillness in the poses. This can support circulation and flexibility in the body.
Yin yoga classes are designed to complement and balance the muscle building or “yang” activities in your life.
Classes will be once a week for 8 weeks.
